But prior to that, the spot in question had also belonged to Canadians. And now they are back, baby! Do you know that the most famous of Canadians is also Polish? Yes, he is practically synonymous with Canada. Because when you say "Wayne Gretzky," you think "hockey" and so you think "Canada." "Hockey" and "Canada" are pretty much interchangeable. While Gretzky's ethnic background is somewhat complex, he acknowledges that he is Polish, which is certainly nice of him, if you ask me. Obviously, he is also Canadian. You can be American, Australian, British or Canadian, and still be Polish. Or German. Or Chinese. We live in a global world, in which nationalities are much more ethnically diverse than ever. A new kid on the block among the top 10 nations visiting this site is my homeland, Poland.
