Probably not... as HOBO stands for Honest Online Business Opportunity and they don't come along that often.  Yes, I mean the kind of business that you could conduct being practically a hobo, except that equipped with a laptop and wireless connection. That seems to exclude beaches as the place to carry on such business (yet?), but includes a lot of other cool places to hang out such as libraries, bookstores, Starbucks coffee shops... and many more coming in future (perhaps even a beach or two).  It is true that there are many online business opportunities out there, most of them promising quick profits with little effort involved (or none at all), but those are usually scams and you should make no mistake about it. One of the most outrageous these days (late August 2006) is the data entry jobs (you know, $300 a day for just typing in a few words and you are done in two hours or so). If you don't believe me, just check out one of their Google or Yahoo ads shown on many websites and you will see for yourself.  The key word in HOBO is 'honest' and that excludes most of the online 'business' opportunities right away. However, I am just one of those guys who really enjoy exploring new business opportunities. I think it's fun to pursue new ideas and projects. I guess, I am still a big kid at heart, so trying new things comes very naturally to me. Most people once they get their first job, would do everything to keep it. They are called adults because their lives are, well... dull.  There are some really good reasons why I believe those who daytrade or are considering daytrading should  give other business opportunities some thought. Trust me, I have been at it for years. You will not hear it from many vendors as it is not in their best interest, but the reality is that sooner or later you will have to face burnout. (This is particularly true when you live on the Left Coast and you a very night person, which happens to be precisely my case...). One good way to avoid this situation is through some diversion and the best diversion I can think of is something that not only provides a bit of a break from trading, but also makes you money. Finally, this should also help you become a better, more selective trader as you will not need to chase every tick in order to make a living; you can now afford to wait for the best trades to come your way as you simply have something else to pay for your food and shelter.
