Critical Thinking Fooled by Randomness: The Hidden Role of Chance in Life and in the Markets Crimes Against Logic How We Know What Isn't So Why Smart People Make Big Money Mistakes And How To Correct Them: Lessons From The New Science Of Behavioral Economics There is absolutely no substitute for common sense and critical thinking when it comes to trading or investing- read these books if you want to be better off than most. Magazines for Traders To keep in touch with the developments in the trading world, it is advisable to read or at least to peruse the industry magazines. Below are a few that you may want to get familiar with. Stocks, Futures and Options Magazine The best out there in my opinion and free on top of that. Futures Magazine I once got a free subscription to it and now keep renewing it for free. Otherwise, it would probably not be worth my money. Technical Analysis of STOCKS & COMMODITIES Very well known, used to subscribe to it, but these days I only peruse it at my local Borders bookstore. Active Trader Magazine Don't have any particular opinion about it as I have never subscribed to it, but from time to time I glance over it at my local Borders store.
