HOME Eclectic	The day I cracked Alexa's TR of 100,000 This day is today, April 4th, 2007. Some four months ago, my Alexa Traffic Rank was well over 6 million. I thought it was bad and decided that it was a time to change it. And while the Alexa TR is not the most reliable number, it certainly is some measure of how popular your website is. When I started out to improve my rankings, my goal was to get below 500,000 in 6 months. I got there in about 6 weeks. Today, I am at about 98,000 as measured by the 3 month average. Less than 4 months since I started. But there is something even more important than that. It is how high my site is now ranked by three major search engines for what I consider its most important keyword. Since I am planning to write a little article about it on some other occasion,  I will now only say that these are darn good positions.
