HOME Eclectic	Buzz Aldrin's finest moment in life  Well, perhaps the second finest. The first was his landing on the Moon as the second man ever. 40 years ago. Here is a picture showing him on the Moon. But the one you are going to see below is his second finest. Or so I think.  I love it when senior citizens take no crap from punks. Way to go, Buzz.  And in the video below you see him interviewed by Ali G, played by one of my favorite comedians, Sacha Baron Cohen. So why did Buzz not get a chance to be the first man on the Moon? Well, basically for two reasons, one was the seniority of his colleague, Neil Armstrong, the other one was purely technical: it was easier for Neil to step out of the landing module as first.  In the picture below you see Neil descending on the Moon surface. A historic moment indeed.
