How to value your head injury Recently tabloids reported on an accident of a Czech speedway rider who suffered a really bad crash and as a result picked up a perfect British accent that can only be matched by his nearly flawless command of the English language. Before the accident, the Czech could only speak broken English. You can learn more about it via this link. Okay, so what's the big deal here? The guy gets his head clobbered so badly that he starts speaking a foreign language as perfectly as possible and all he receives for that is the satisfaction that his accent is as British as it gets? Man, seriously, this poor Czech fellow got shafted big time here! Here is what you could claim in "satisfaction" for a much lesser head injury if you were an American and the injury happened in your workplace:
1) a private island in the Caribbean, Obviously to get all this, and that's just for starters, you would need a good lawyer. Those in LA are the best and there are plenty of them here too. Someone once estimated that there are more lawyers in the LA county than in entire France, which also explains quite well why 10,000 of them at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean is considered a good start.
