He may sound a lot like a Southern Baptist minister, but, in fact, his church is a part of non-denominational Christianity. Years ago he started a television ministry which has become hugely popular not only in the US, but also abroad. I used to watch his sermons in the past whenever I got a chance, but since these days I don't watch TV that often, I am glad to have come across his podcasts. Now whenever I am doing something that requires little attention or when I am resting I like to listen to his Internet sermons.  You don't have to be a religious person to appreciate their uplifting message, their timeless wisdom or their sparkling humor.
