A monster remark

Samantha Power, a Pulitzer winning author and a (former) advisor to Obama's campaign resigned recently after an off the record remark on Hillary Clinton being a monster.

Yes, she should have resigned. Moreover, the Obama campaign should have issued an apology to all the monsters in the US and abroad for this very untactful comparison, which, I am sure, most monsters deeply resent. So, will we hear from Mr. Obama  or is he going to pretend that nothing has really happened? I think that as an African-American he should be particularly sensitive to denigrating comments that target minorities.

Let's hope he addresses this issue soon and puts it to rest before the monsters sue the crap out of this Harvard professor chick. Or something...

Incidentally, when exactly did Hillary Clinton, who had voted for the war in Iraq responsible for thousands of deaths among innocent civilians, become so sensitive? Must be a very new thing... Or perhaps it's a very old thing known as hypocrisy? As with most politicians, we will probably never know...
