Real men and their nudes

In the days long gone, the real men would code their computer programs using punch cards. Those, in turn, would be sent to a secret room where they would be fed into a giant mainframe computer. What would ensue was a (usually) long printout listing the source, the errors of compilation if any and often plenty, and the results, if you were lucky enough to get something out of the mainframe beast the first time around. On the second attempt, it was relatively easier to accomplish that.

In those days, the real men would spend the time free from coding the software that would control satellites and planetary probes on more leisurely pursuits. Like coding ASCII nude pictures. Yes, imagine a picture like this being coded using punch cards. I wonder how many trips to the mainframe room it would take for this picture to become that perfect. Or, rather, how pervert the guy operating the mainframe would have to be to allow for this to be going on that long. And yes, that would probably account for all NASA failures in the early days of space exploration, too!

These days, every punk can create something like that on their PC or Mac in no time, but please don't tell me that this is serious computing!!
