Trading, and daytrading in particular, is undoubtedly one of the best HOBOs known to man (or at least to this man) and if mastered, it will provide you with good income. There is a huge vendor industry built around trading which in its majority is anything but honest. There are some exceptions, though, some good guys who provide decent if not outstanding information or other means to improve your edge at a very reasonable price. I feature their work in this section which is dedicated mostly to trading ebooks. Yet, it is rather unlikely that you will find here the most popular trading ebooks on the market. Bird Watching in Lion Country
I decided to put the review of this ebook at the very top of my list of reviews for this is the best ebook on trading I have read in a very long time. Yes, its title does not betray that the ebook has anything to do with trading, but it really does. To partially understand the origin of this curious title, one has to read through the first paragraph of the book: The first person I met in the retail forex trading industry, the CEO of the prominent start-up forex company (IB) in South Africa was previously a star trader- in vending machines. The second person I met was the marketing director of a market maker. I expected to meet knowledgeable, successful and profitable traders. I met fast talking, successful, profitable salesmen. I knew I had entered the lion country. I decided to quote these sentences not only to explain the ebook title, but also because I can relate really well to the author's experience: my first would-be-mentor was one fast talking Eddie who still (five years later) advertises his overpriced services to the masses via Stocks and Commodities and other industry rags. My experience with him was worse than miserable, but his lawyers assured me that saying anything more would be highly inadvisable. [read more...]

DreamTai Amazing Stock Trading Software
This little piece of software was one of major reasons why I created this category. Its name is not exaggerated at all. It is indeed amazing once you realize that this $19.95 baby is not necessarily worse than the $4000 gorilla that is being constantly hyped in TV informercials and goes by the name of Wizetrade or something. At least when it comes to the end of the day stock trading, the differences are largely insignificant or a mere matter of taste. And what's even more, this amazing thing also gives you basic money management tools, which is as important as the signals of entry and exit, but is often neglected by rookie traders. Does Wizetrade provide money management tools? Nope, but I bet they would get them for you for another 4 grand... [read more...]

If it had not been for this ebook, this section would probably not have been created. Or at least not now. It was only after I had discovered it that I eventually decided to add this category. What's so special about this ebook, you might ask. Well, it presents simple yet profitable a system that can be used for trading equities and stock indices, but that can hardly be considered extraordinary. Indeed, there are many ebooks out there which do about the same thing, except that their 'systems' have never been tested in any systematic manner and so do not even deserve to be called that way! The Truth About Trading For A Living
This is another excellent ebook by the same author as above, David Graeme-Smith. While the other ebook is for those who are mostly interested in swing trading stocks or stock indices, this one is for everyone who wants to become a better trader. In fact, this is a serious mandatory reading. This is a very honest book, which is one of the main reasons I recommend it. You don't want to be without this book if you are seriously considering a career in trading.
